“Resilience" is a compelling documentary that follows the journey of one woman who faced a challenging recovery after undergoing risk-reducing mastectomies.

Despite these challenges, Lisa Csencsits became a contender for the US National Championships in cycling. Her story is deeply intertwined with her genetic heritage: a high risk for breast cancer, and an extraordinary ability to convert oxygen to energy, which powers her world-class cycling ability.

As both traits were inherited from her maternal side, the film explores complex family dynamics, including a decade-long rift with her mother, adding emotional depth to her pursuit.
